very cheaply made
"I have many qvc Tiffany style lamps and love them. This one arrived today and is incomparable.
Very light in weight so feels flimsy. The wings of the dragonflies are not the usual delicate filigree design but are virtually black leaving little space for light to shine through.
The worst part of this lamp is the really cheap ribbon used to 'stick' the long beads on. I also dont like all the grey/purple glass between the dragonflies which wasnt showing up on the presentation.
It could have been a lovely lamp - the design is good - but the materials and workmanship are very poor."

Not nice
"Have had a lot of Tiffany lamps of QVC, but this is really cheap and not well made, sorry QVC. I sent for two of these lamps thinking they would make a lovely touch to my bedroom, be aware that they are not book ends and one will be the wrong way around, design is wrong for each side of the bed!!! Will have to send back, not pleased........."

Colours too dark when switched off
"I agree with previous comments that say it looks too dark when switched off during the day. My other 2 lamps from QVC look bright colours even when not on.
Also, with the small bulb supplied, it was not bright enough, and that was the maximum wattage allowed. Luckily, I was able to find (eventually) a low energy bulb with a small cap (ordinary bulbs will not fit) and it is now 5 times brighter, without getting too hot."
