My favorite gadget
"All time fav purchase from QVC, TV dock works fine, runs Music Games & films & flash files (Little known & not advertised), Music quality is second to none & so easy & free to update, Wifi works but a bit slow good fun though my third multimedia player from archos I had the original A300, which my daughter now has & loves.. Remote control is a bit fiddly but functional. It goes everywhere I go, I watch Tv progs or listen to music during my dinner hour."

Archos Support
"I am pleased with my Archos although it does freeze now and again. I now cannot up-date the program guide and have e-mailed Archos about this problem but as is usual you get an automated response saying someone will be in touch within a couple of days but of course this does not happen. I therefore cannot record at the present time and wonder if anyone else has the same problem. I did get a message at one point saying I would have to pay for an update but the man from Archos did not mention this when selling on QVC."

Archos is great-docking station not so good!
"Ive had one of these for over a year now, and the archos itself is one of my best purchases off QVC by far, i use it all the time! Its simple to use and stores loads of videos and my entire music collection!
The concept of using it to record off tv really appealed to me, however i could not get the docking station to work properly at all! There were so many wires to attach here there and everywhere that it was really confusing! And there werent very good instructions with it! Then after taking it out of the tv and giving up the dvd player will no longer work!!
Anyway, i would buy this item again just for the archos device itself, just dont be suprised if you cant get the docking station to work!!"

Did everything I wanted it to.
"Having read several poor reviews, it was with some trepidation that I purchased the 605 bundle from QVC The bundle included the DVR docking station and the battery dock.
It arrived quickly and worked straight out of the box. The connection to the Sky box was quick and easy. You do need the DVR dock to record TV and a great saving was made on the QVC bundle.
I needed a device to handle my music and photos and a totally portable device for recording TV at one location and playing it back on another TV at home, or when waiting in the car for my wife to finish shopping, or to take the device elsewhere and play TV on a different TV. To do this you need the battery dock which comes complete with audio visual cables which makes it totally portable. The only downside is that if you connect to the battery dock you do not have the advantage of a remote control.
The ability to use Wi fi was not my greatest need...but having connected it quite easily I found the speed to the adequate for checking e mail and a little surfing.
The display screen is excellent.
I had to call the help desk as I had some trouble registering the product...have a magnifying glass ready to read the serial number on the back, why do they make them so small?
I found Mr. Pohl helpful and he rang me back within 24 hours to check if the solution had worked...It had.
The annoying this is having to buy plug ins to surf the web, or another to use web tv and radio and yet another for cinema dvd. but all in all for what I needed this product was ideal and an exceptional saving with QVC"
