So far, so good

"I have always had very strong, fast growing nails until the last three years. Since then, my nails have started to flake and I have one nail that has a very deep vertical ridge due to a minor accident to my finger. I hoped that the flaky areas would eventually grow out but this did not happen and I tried Nail Envy having read many positive reviews on QVC. I can only say that Nail Envy was a complete disaster and made my problem much worse. I then saw this Pro Strong kit on air and, in desperation, decided to try it. I followed the instructions exactly, firmly expecting my nails to suffer from "overload" and for the product to chip off very rapidly. This did NOT happen. I topped up the topcoat every other day and used the hand serum every night and I did not have ONE chip on either hand. I was really impressed and did not need to remove the product after the week, I could have left it even longer, it still looked perfect. As I wanted to let my nails "breathe " for a while, and wanted to see what they looked like under the product, I did remove it after the week. I cannot say that the damaged areas have miraculously disappeared in that time. However, they do not seem as bad, my nails do feel stronger and I will continue with the product for the present. While I am surprised by some of the negative reviews, I think they just go to show that every one is different and sometimes it takes a while to find what works for you."

NOT FOR ME

"Unfortunatly this product did not work for me. My nails tend to split and peel off so thought this would be the answer. It didn't work at all and I followed the instructions properly. In fact it dried out the skin around my nails making my hands look worse. I'm afraid this is going back."

Worked at First - but then...

"I have always had tiny bendy nails that just won't grow into anything attractive, so being new to QVC, was enthralled by the promise of beautiful hands that would finally allow me to wear some rings!

At first all went well and I applied the nail strengthener and moisturiser religiously as instructed. After four weeks my nails were tougher and longer, looking fab - so I ordered some rings...

...and then they all broke off, much to my dismay. It was also painful because they all snapped lower on my finger than the free edge, leaving them shorter than they'd ever been before. I was keeping them filed and doing everything I was told, but they clearly dried out too much and became brittle.

On the plus side, the pink glamour colour looked nice on my toes and lasted for ages.

I'm now trying OPI's Nail Envy and Avoplex - ever hopeful :-)"

Fantastic

"I have brought this product before, after I had my false nails removed my nails looked terrible, this was the only product that saved them. Now my nails are strong and healthy, yes they sometimes break, but everyones nails break sometimes too. This product is fantastic."
