"People (particularly Julia) rave about this handcream. Sadly, there was not a single thing I liked about it. The smell is unpleasant, and the texture is horrid: both are very “synthetic” and not what I was expecting from a ‘premium aromatherapy skincare brand’*. If you apply a little, any moisturising effect seems to wear off within minutes. If you apply more liberally, it sits on the skin and made my hands feel as though they were suffocating (I know that sounds odd, but it’s the best way I can describe it) – the only thing to do was to wash it off. With the aid of both reading glasses and a magnifying glass - the print on the bottle is so small! - I then saw it contains ingredients I would normally avoid (mineral oil, lanolin). Again, not at all what I would expect from a ‘premium aromatherapy skincare brand’*.
