Superb product
"Bought this back in mid 2009. The product is so versatile with good,well built components. I have used all of the various tools , carrying out maintenance and DIY jobs, with no issues at home. I like the fact that all the power tools I need are all in one place, and the workshop is easy to store in the shed.
I have since purchased the cordeless driver via QVC that fits neatly within the Power8 Workshop case.
Overall, a very good quality, versatile product, well worth the money."

"i purchased this item on 18/08/09.. i think its really good. ideal for doing laminate flooring .it really dose a good job .bought another battrey. because i could use the ripsaw and jigsaw so i could use this continuously .while one was being charged.....good all rounder"

All-in-one DIY Kit
"Excellent product, workshop was fully charged within 1 Hour, very easy to make up workshop as a working tablesaw/Scroll Saw/Drill Press. Have not fully uterlised the kit yet, but having purchased many DIY products in my life time, the various items within this kit seem very solid and capable. if there was a negative, i would have bought the Power 8 Station Plus, as this kit automatically supplies the Hammer drill driver, whereas you only get the light drill driver in this kit. Also you do not get the, Accessory Pack c/w Driver Bits, Screws,HexKeys, Blades & Adaptor, but you would in the workshop 8 plus."

No Power Source? No Problem.
"Hauling rechargeable tools to the allotment is a challenge, but a necessary one. Imagine how liberating it is to be able to pop one box into the car and have everything that you need.
We have just built a shed from recycled roof trusses and floorboards, 8 feet by 10 feet, and the benchsaw in this little marvel has cut board after board. Fellow plotholders had to come and take a look when they heard the noise and their jaws dropped in amazement. They couldn't believe that it was battery powered. Plus, the second power pack is a blessing.
If I was asked to suggest improvements, there would be two:
1. To include a standalone charger that you could leave one battery charging at home while you use the unit outside.
2. It can be hard to see the saw blade when used as a bench saw, and on occasion, we had to lift the cover to feed in the wood.
