Purchased this bridge camera as I was hoping to replace an elderly budget DSLR and loved the TSV presentation especially the photo of the birds in the sunset - wow!
The camera arrived very quickly too - great service.
Good Points: Comfortable to use Quiet in operation Nice wide angle
Bad Points: In bright sunlight - Screen not good at all viewfinder also too small and poor in sunlight Aperture range too limited Photos not sharp enough for my taste
I have returned this camera
I didn't use the HD video so can only comment on the photo quality which didn't meet my requirements nor my expectations

Fugi service

After three days of buying this camera,it developed a fault. My biggest mistake was contacting Fugi after sales service for help. They were not in the least bit interested and merely told me to return the camera At my expense. This was after me telling them I purchased the camera from QVC. Possibly the worst kind of service I have ever experienced. Sent the camera back for a refund. I will never buy Fugi again. It's back to Canon for me. Please be aware.

Love This Camera

I have never owned a bridge camera before so cannot compare it with any other but I am more than happy with my purchase so far. The pictures I have taken are of a good quality. Other reviewers have mentioned problems with the camera's weight and holding and focusing it but I have not found any of these points a problem and I have quite small hands. Just like the photo in Mat Trim's demo, my husband zoomed in and took a great picture of an aeroplane that was very high above our house. I was amazed to be able to see the reg number on the underside of one of the wing tips and the blue colour on its tall. I've only really used the camera in its EXR mode so far but I hope to experiment and learn to use this in its manual mode as time goes on. I am certainly not disappointed with my purchase and would recommend it to others.

I have a Panasonic bridge camera and I love it but an now looking to up grade. I found this camera to big and bulky and it was difficult to use the manual zoom, could not keep it still, maybe its to heavy for me. I like to take pictures quickly and this twisting took to long, it wiggled the camera about and then I would lose my shot. Did not try many functions as I got put off in the beginning so I have sent it back. Now going to look for another Panasonic to up grade to. Yet another postage fee down the drain.
